Health Care Aide – Harbor Supportive Living Home (HSLH), Edmonton
HSLH is seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Aide to join our supportive living team. The role involves providing resident-centered care, promoting comfort and safety, and supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily routines. We are looking for someone who is patient, motivated, and committed to dignity and respect in care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities while following all care plans and safety standards.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive environment and work collaboratively with staff, families, and supervisors.
- Ensure accurate documentation and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta HCA certificate (or enrollment in an approved program).
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Police Clearance Check.
- Experience in supportive living or disability care is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and consistency in care delivery.
Employment Details
This is a casual part-time or full-time position based on availability. Competitive wages and a supportive workplace culture are offered. Shifts may include days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
